25 Apr End of Year Scholar Celebration
Courage. Resilience, Strength–the hallmarks of every BridgeEdU Scholar. Our goal is to transform the first- and second-year college experience for students of promise (first-gen, Pell-Grant eligible) by meeting students where they are and deploying a hybrid, high-tech, high-touch solution that helps to identify risk factors and drives support that builds upon the personal attributes of each student.
BridgeEdU and our university partners firmly believe that – with the proper support – more students can realize their goal of earning a college degree. Over the past year, our Success Coaches have worked intensely with students to map a clear path to college completion–together they have developed academic success plans, discussed long-term financial planning, and explored career paths that align with student majors. Innovative national retention programs, like CUNY ASAP, Detroit’s Promise Program, BridgeEdU all recognize that making college accessible is only part of the equation. Students of promise need holistic support systems that coaching models rely on to drive persistence and ultimately college completion.
On May 1, we will celebrate our scholars’ journey toward college completion. Each BridgeEdU scholar has a story, and each scholar has made extraordinary progress towards reaching their personal goal of earning a college degree.
